We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Investment Officer to lead iGate’s investment strategy across venture capital and private equity activities. This executive role will be instrumental in fundraising, building strategic investor networks, managing our fund structures, evaluating portfolio performance, and supporting investment in high-potential startups.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising & Capital Strategy
    • Develop and execute fundraising strategies across VC, PE, and corporate investment vehicles.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with LPs, sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and family offices.
    • Represent iGate in investor roadshows, negotiations, and conferences.
  • Investment Management
    • Oversee deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, and execution of investments.
    • Supervise the management of iGate’s venture fund, accelerator fund, and co-investment vehicles.
    • Build robust investment theses aligned with iGate’s innovation and market access platforms.
  • Portfolio Oversight
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of portfolio companies.
    • Drive strategic exits, M&A opportunities, and secondary market activity.
    • Establish performance metrics and reporting systems for all investments.
  • Governance & Risk
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and internal investment governance policies.
    • Develop risk management frameworks for diversified asset classes and investment stages.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor investment team members.
    • Collaborate with iGate Studio and Accelerator units to align investment with startup support lifecycle.
    • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team to shape strategic direction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in investment leadership roles in VC, PE, or family office environments.
  • Proven track record of raising and deploying significant funds (minimum SAR 250M or equivalent).
  • Strong network of LPs, co-investors, and institutional funders in the MENA region and globally.
  • Deep understanding of startup funding cycles, venture building, and innovation ecosystems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • Experience in the Saudi or GCC investment ecosystem is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
